A new word to me anyway, but I came across it elsewhere.

But a search in AnswerBank revealed two occurrences, one way back in March.

Typical, I'm usually behind the times/fashions these days.

Oh, yes, sorry. The new word is covidiot - someone who ignores any precautionary measures.

who's the biggest covidiot - the passengers not wearing masks? or the airline that wedged 193 passengers on the flight, eliminating any possibility of social distancing?

several links posted elsewhere which say that masks are of little use unless accompanied by social distancing/frequent washing/no touching.

I saw it first months ago...usually referring to the hoards desperately hitting the beaches in April, or queuing for McDonald's because THEY MISSED IT SOOOOOO MUCH!
