Age Of Innocence
Just to make you smile.....
Two young lads walked into Boots one day, picked out a box of tampons and proceeded to the checkout counter.
The pharmacist at the counter asked the older boy, 'Son, how old are you?'
'seven', the boy replied.
The man continued, 'Do you know what these are used for?'
The boy replied, 'Not exactly, but they aren't for me. They're for him. He's my brother. He's five."
"Oh, really?" the pharmacist replied with a grin.
"Yes." the boy said. "We saw on TV that if you use these, you would be able to swim, play tennis and ride a bike. Right now, he can't do none of those."

Many years ago I went camping with some friends to Somerset. On arrival, we realised that we hadn't taken any tent pegs. We found a shop that sold all sorts of things and went in. The lady behind the counter was at least eighty years old and quite deaf. We asked if she sold tent pegs. "What do you want they for?" she asked with a broad Somerset accent. Puzzled, we said "to hold up our tent". She disappeared to a room at the back of the shop and came back with a box of Tampax. No wonder she looked a bit puzzled when we said what they were for!
