Abnormal Blood Test Results.

Just got my blood test results back via Patient Access and a few are showing as abnormal. Can somebody tell me what it means and whether or not I need to be concerned please?

Serum Vitamin B12 Result 1005ng/L Normal range 197-771.

Serum Folate Result >20.0ug/L Normal range 3.9 - 20.0

Thyroid Function Test Result Serum TSH level 5.60mu/L Normal range 0.27-4.20

you have taken Vit B12 and folate

TSH - I regard this slightly raised level as normal in the mature pop

(well someone asked what I thought)

Thanks for your answer Peter, looks like it might be the only one I get!
I should have said I haven't taken any Vitamin B12 or Folate, so don't understand why it's high. I like mature pop, sounds better than the elderly.:-)
No big deal.
I would suggest that the blood tests are repeated in 6 months.

Sqad, why is it high? I don't take Vit B12 in any form.

It was 487 last July so it has more than doubled.
No idea.
A high concentration of B12 that you had eaten in you meal before the blood test.

Look at the blood picture as a whole......no big deal.
