Easter doesn't have a set date - it is a 'movable feast'. Ramadan changes date every year, too. The date is set by the new moon after harvest.
Ramadan does not move in the Islamic year, but they use the Hijri Calendar which has 11 days a year missing so to anyone using the proper calendar it appears to move. Diwali has a similar problem in that it uses a similarly inaccurate Hindu Lunisolar calendar. Easter moves for a different reason, It's the Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox.
I belive that Rosh Hashana moves too.
This is all very moving.
Gets you right here.
Pancake Day moves.

Theland, you are sounding just a little bit intolerant.
Yes, if there is one thing Answer Bank will not put up with, it is intolerance
Theland; and to digress a little, do you think that there might be life on other planets, and if so do you think that they might have religions and festivals, and if so do you think that they are all wrong because they aren't in your religion?
Theland; or do you thinkthat I am sinking very low by asking such questions?
Theland. You really are down in the depths now, insulting every non-Christian in this country (and possibly the world).

Worship whoever you like. Pray to the great teapot in the sky. But don’t scorn the millions of us who don’t share your odd views.
