student bank account

Im about to start my 2nd year of uni and I dont have a student bank account. Which bank is it better to open one with, I dont care about the free gifts like mp3 players because I already have a ipod!

i think most student accounts are limited to people who are in their 1st year

I've been with Barclays all my life and have just opened a student bank account, no problems so far! Any bank is okay to go with really,all the financial stuff is the same (interest free overdraft etc) Natwest is giving away a 5yr young persons railcard though ... I
