Emails Not Coming

Mrs A deals with Wickes, by email, getting bits for her garden (she's not in the building trade).

Their email address is wickescustomerservice(at) wickes.co.uk.

Without exception, their emails to her (/at/ virginmedia.com) do not get through.

If she goes to Virgin, she can log in and see the emails there in the inbox, and transfer them to her Mac (on Virgin's inbox list, they are 'crossed out').

Why have Virgin taken against Wickes? Is it that the Wickes email is a 'co.uk' address?

Is there anything we can do abaht it?

Is 'wickescustomerservice(at) wickes.co.uk' in Mrs A's Contacts list? If it is, it should prevent it being blocked by Virgin Media's spam filters, so that it will arrive in her inbox normally:

Sounds like they are being marked as spam/junk by her email provider.

What program are you using to get the email on the Mac - is it Mail or another program?

Have you looked in the junk/spam folder on the Mac.

You may have to mark them as not spam/junk when logged in to her provider.

Hello both.

Yes, that wickes email address is in her contacts list, and that hasn't made much difference.

I'll try logging into Virgin to see if I can access their spam filters, but knowing Virgin, I wouldn't hold my breath.
