Email Problems

I have a Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite.
Android 7, Snapdragon 435, EMUI 5.1.3.
About 2 years old.
I have been very happy with it.
Over the last few days it has started dumping some new messages straight into Spam.
Also my Sent keeps filling with messages I have neither seen, nor sent. Mainly in Cyrillic script. I have changed my email password but still happening.
I have also noticed Scrabble Go freezing sometimes.
I have recently been away from home and used Premier Inns WiFi.
Any thoughts anyone please??

It is possible you have picked up a tracker/virus or similar. If you have an anti-virus program on your device, run a scan for them. If you have't got a anti-virus program, download one from the Google play store - something like Avast etc, and then run a scan.

Thanks Richtee. I had already tried the scan within the device and at your suggestion, have run Avast. Nothing detected, so none the wiser.??
