Beware Facebook

No matter what password I put in in it is not letting me into my account even though I have had this password written down and I know it off by heart there's something strange going on has anyone else experienced this
I have put correct password in my phone and also my laptop but it's saying incorrect password I don't know what's going on I fear that everything has been hacked including all my bank etc

I'm also having problems with logging onto Facebook, not that I use it regularly but cannot find me as a user.

It did the same with me a couple of weeks ago, in the end I had to re-register with a new email address.

Type your password into Notepad, so you can see it, then, when you can see that it's right, copy and paste it from Notepad into Facebook.

theres probly something going wrong with saved passwords. Clear the browser history and try again, your bank accounts could only at risk if you use the same password for bank and facebook

Is your keyboard set to ENG UK? have you tried the "Forgotten password" link at the log in page?

This happened to me after a Windows 10 update. It would not accept my password for my eBay shop even though I've had the same username and password for over 15 years. Clear all cookies in your browser, reboot your PC , or turn off then on whatever you access the internet with. Go to eBay through a google search, not any bookmarked pages you may have, and try again. This worked for me.
