Picasso's 'Boy with pipe' was sold for $104 million recently and became the most expensive sold at auction. And it's not even one of his best! It broke the record made not long before for Rubens's 'Massacre of the Innocents', which fetched 59.5 million. The Rubens is far better (I've seen it, but not the Picasso, in the flesh) but still, no painting is really worth that much.
