Question Author
to be more specific, can they go to there familes house in the uk.
No one knows until Dec 2nd.
Well I haven't checked but would say definitely no, mainland Spain has not been on the travel corridor list for months so they'd have to do 14 days quarantine irrelevant of the current lockdown (it was like that already). Nothing in place yet to let negative testers in either.
Question Author
so it's wait and see..even if they had the test yesterday.
Sorry fender but that's not the way I read it. You can enter Spain with a negative test and not quarantine but you must quarantine coming here from there.
Yes, its extremely unlikely that they will be able to travel without quarantine.
Question Author
i see...expensive to stay in hotel for 14 days here.
Quarantine doesn't mean staying in a hotel, it means staying in the house and not going out for any reason except emergency, that includes no essential shopping nor dog-walking etc, much stricter than the spring lockdown. I know because I did it in September..
I think they can be in a private house but in their own room and not mixing with others
Question Author
thats difficult, same house..not mixing etc, 14 days.

thank you all for your input..help.
