Most concerts intros made my hair stand on end (when a still had some) when the first notes start and everyone cheers as we reconise the tune. Others may probly come to mind but one that springs to mind is Blondie- it was dark and quiet as we awaited there entrance. There was some shuffling around on the dark stage and then a stunning Debbie Harry exploded into light & sound screaming "Am in the phone booth its the one across the hall..." and off she went and the band went into Hanging on The Telephone.
Remember going to see Neil Diamond many years ago at the Manchester Arena. One of the neighbours heard me saying to his wife that I was ordering tickets and asked me on the quiet if I could get him a couple but not to tell his wife as it was going to be a surprise. The concert was about 9 months away and in that time we moved house and I forgot all about him. On the night Mr BD couldn't go, our daughter didn't want to go but her boyfriend, who was a part-time DJ and loved any type of music, said he would go with me so off we went. Don't know who was more surprised when we got there - me seeing the old neighbour who was getting all kissy kissy and snuggling up to another ex neighbour (certainly not his wife), or him seeing me with a six foot tall, drop dead gorgeous black guy. Oh that was a fun evening. Well I enjoyed it as I thought it was hilarious.
