printer gone haywire

For some reason my printer refused to print most of the first line of a letter. Printed the letterhead, and the date and the greeting. Then not the first sentence. But the last word at the end of that line. What the hell? Any ideas?

I'd suggest defragging your hard drive(s) and, I know this sounds daft but it sometimes works, make sure your Recycle Bin isn't over-full. Another thing you could try is to connect to www.pcpitstop.com You'll have to register but it's easy and free then let them do a scan and see what they say. Failing all that I'd turn it off, leaving it for 5 mins then trying again. This last one's a bit desperate I know, but what have you got to loose?
