What an awful revamp of a once light-hearted game show.Given the panellists I shouldn’t have been surprised.

C’mon Mamyalynne it’s awful it really is.How Jimmy Carr that alleged comedian keeps getting work is beyond me.
"Given the panellists", why did you watch?
Question Author
I thought with Bradley Walsh it might have been OK but 10 minutes was enough. He was dragged down to their level.
The original show was pretty dire - and this one was obviously beneath Jimmy Carr.

I guess that being a regular on TV, hosting quiz shows and with sell-out tours, Jimmy Carr can’t be doing much wrong.
It seemed to me as cheesy as it ever was.
dunno what you expected, the format is the same as ever, news set and yes dire as always.

Perhaps I’m imagining but I thought it was OK with Terry Wogan and Les Dawson.
Agree it was dreadful, Bradley stick to the Chase, and Jimmy Carr continuously trying to be funny!! Should never revamp old classic shows!
It was never that great. Did people really turn on in their millions to watch this stuff?

It was absolutely unwatchable, but that's more an sign of how television has changed in the last forty years than any did in quality, as there was little difference between it and the classic show.I

Of course the show missed the inclusion of either Sir Terry Wogan or thw incomparable Les Dawson, but it shows how our tastes have changed over the years.
It was abysmal. I love Bradley Walsh and he was wasted on it!!!! I used to like the original but maybe that was because there wasn't much to watch in those days!!!
Anything with Jmmy Carr is bound to be dire. Can't stand him at all.
It was always one of the worst things on TV. And probably deliberately so. It surely could be any worse now could it?
Terry Wogan and Les Dawson were wasted on it
I didnt watch it because I always hated the original shows years ago, far too cheesy for me to think of it as entertainment.
Wasn’t it always awful?
I saw a thing recently about the (ancient) host joking about Patti Boulaye being black.
I like Bradley Walsh, but what was he thinking doing this!
I liked it when Paul O'Grady did it.
I thought it an amusing half-hour, Bradley Walsh was good & the panel were fun. Perhaps I'm just easily pleased.
danny - I just have to agree with you.
