Light Bulb

In our hallway we have a light bulb that has been going strong for 11 years! (touch wood), can anyone beat that?

Can't say for bulbs but in 25 years i have just had to replace my strip light once in kitchen and that was replaced about 12 years ago now watch it go this week lol

I moved into this house in December 1980. I still haven't replaced the (*ahem* very dusty) 60W light bulb that is in the cupboard under the stairs ! OK, I don't go in there that often but nearly 26 years is quite a long time !!

What's your secret? My spotlights in my kitchen pop on a weekly basis despite what wattage bulbs are in there. I'm sick to death of them!

I'm with Boo - our light bulbs pop all the time. I have invested in one of the longer life ones for the porch, so far so good

What can I say? They dont make them like they used to!!

EMMALEE you have hit it on the head and BOO yes everytime I go my daughters there is always another of these small spotlights gone.
