Azureus
5 Answers
I just got Azureus and I don't know how to work it. I found a site where I could download shows and all. I hit the download button and it brings it up in a separate window and has a button where I can hit okay, but it won't let me. Can someone please just step me through everything on how to to use it and get it to the point where I can watch shows! Thanks!

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.to use azureus you have to download a torrent, from sites like torrentspy or torrentreactor, you type in whatever you want to find, then download the healthiest torrent there (the health os normally shown at the side) you then open the torrent in azureus and it uses the torrent to download the song/album whatever you wanted.
hope that helps.

Try it out using OpenOffice first, because I can guarantee that the torrent is a good one (and it's legal):

Choose the 2.0.3 version on windows, and it should pop up with a box for you to download a .torrent file. Once this is downloaded (probably to your desktop, depending how you've set it to download with your browser), you'll need to add it to azureus.
find the torrent file (its icon should be a blue frog, the azureus icon), and drag that file into the top pane in azureus.a box will pop up asking where you want to save it. choose your desktop if you like, but it doesn't really matter. all the files you're downloading should have ticks next to them in the bottom of that window. click ok, and it should appear in the top pane of azureus and start to download.
You should also change the port number it uses from the default to something random like 49295, and allow it free reign with your firewall. There's more information for that sort of stuff here:
