From whose perspective?
- the business owner, who doesn't want people off sick with Covid when they could have been vaccinated
- the supplier or customer, who doesn't want to be meeting a member of staff if they haven't been vaccinated
- an employee's co-workers, who don't want to be working alongside them if they've refused a vaccination (which could be seen as selfish, as it limits herd immunity)
In respecting the wishes of an employee not wanting to be vaccinated, is an employer also ignoring the effect on their business, their other employees, their suppliers and their customers? Supporting anti-vaxx is not supporting pro-vaxx, and vice versa. It's impossible for an employer to follow a line that everybody will be happy with, so in the end they have to follow a line that they're most happy with ...
