It's of no interest to me Johnny. I don't drink alcohol. Tis true folks!
are they really opening that early in the morning?
There was a pub near Smithfields market that opened at 4AM to allow porters to quench their thirst.
Same in Birmingham, Tony, and I'm sure a lot of towns and cities had pubs that opened very early for the market workers.

I won't be rushing to a pub any time soon.
ours won't be open any time soon, but if they do in spring, summer will go with a mate and have a nice cold drink outside, weather permitting.
Good news is it not. I managed to book a Sunday slot for a pub lunch in June and Wed Dinner at the same pub in St Ives. I have been checking the booking site every day since Christmas and at 8am this morning struck gold. Going to try the Italian and Fish Restaurants the same week now.
That assumes that all goes well which of course I hope it does. personally apart from the good it will do for people's mental health (not mine) and the economy, I don't care one way or the other.
It’s extremely good news for the industry (and Uk economy) as a whole.
i like a pint at the local, its a way of chilling out, have my favourite pear cider on a warm day -

agree Johnny, its a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.
I can't wait for them to be open 'properly' so I can go and have meals with friends, really missed that. Of great interest to me ...
