Smow has the hospital soft bandaged you? You just need to take it easy, but a heat spray e.g. Deep heat may help to give you some relief.
No emmie, will just have to wait and see, have been more physically active for the last week or so.
Tony that sounds terrible. If it is what you suspect how long before it heals? Will they send Jan home if you are restricted in mobility?
Emmie there are other blood thinners. I don't take warfarin. You have to ask.
Emmie the blood thinner injections are used daily for major surgeries and a number of days after. Usually for a course of 5 to 10 days. The tablets take a while to build up therapeutic levels and you need frequent blood finger prick tests to monitor if you need to adjust the dosage. Don't worry
