Hi guys, I was looking for some advice really, now I wouldn't say I'm the jealous type or controlling. This morning I woke up in bed with the wife of 18 years as normal. I happened to glance over at her phone and noticed the word nice with xxx, this was from a good friend of ours and the boy friend of my wife's best friend from school. I was a bit curious and wanted to know what's it all about. When my wife was in the shower I had a look at her phone and that message was connected to a reply saying what do you think and a picture of what she wants her hair to look like when the hairdressers open. Now to me this is fine no worries some time you just want some Male advice that's not your husband. I get it , but when I scroll up I cant see the messages my wife sent to him because they've been deleted for some reason ??? So I was just looking for some advice ? What would you do ? I haven't confronted her about it yet.

This isnt about trust it's about deceipt. Just need to accept and understand.

Most people on here will moan at you for not being trusting which is actually ridiculous because loads of people cheat and have affairs. Me? Yes I'd worry, more about why she'd deleted the previous messages if they were innocent.

most people delete them instantly this might even be a function of their phones
I would just shrug my shoulders and not read anything into it

She deffo dont delete all her messages half of them still on there ( the innocent ones) I am deeply saddened and annoyed because I love her, but what is love eh
