When I went for my annual eye test yesterday, it was found I have blood in the back of my eye. The examiner printed me off a letter to take immediately to my GP practise, which I did. I spoke with the receptionist at the surgery as to who to give the letter to. Having popped it through the letter box, it dawned on me, maybe I should have opened it and had a look at the content ! The examiner asked if I could be diabetic. As my oh is, I tested my blood sugar and read 3.4. So not diabetic. Blood pressure usually runs low. I do seem to have a weird yellow tinge to my eyes ! Anybody had any experience of anything like this ?
No, i have never had such problems.
It depends where you mean by "back of the eye"
You have eliminated the major causes of high blood pressure and diabetes which only leaves the unusual causes or those of unknown origin.
I cannot associate the discolouration of the eye with your symptoms and it does not suggest jaundice.
I presume that you haven't had a bang on the head.
Thats about it sorry, but it does not sound a big deal.
