Stick insect eggs
3 Answers
I have a stick insect who is laying lots of eggs and as a results I have had almost 100 hatched so I am about to be over-run with them! Does anyone know of a humane way to stop the eggs hatching. I know with African land snails you can freeze the eggs to kill them - does this work for stick insects?

What breed of stick insect have you got? I used to have some a few years ago. I had indian stick insects and I also had some giant spiny stick insects at one time which are quite big and have spikes on them. My giant spiny stick insects laid eggs about 25 they laid they didnt hatch thouugh. My indian stick insects laid well over 100.
If you dont want to have so many babies that you cant handle them then Yes I would dispose the eggs. Indiain stick insects are one of the easiest to breed and breed like mad
Hope I have helped you
