We have woken up to 2 inches of snow - 50 miles from London, not Scotland! Is this another Tory plot to keep people away from pubs etc?

even Boris can't do anything about the changeable weather.
one our local pubs has installed pods rather like the ones at epcot, ugly and unnecessary
Wont be going near one till we can comfortably sit inside or when the warmer weather comes, no one should be desperate enough for a drink as to sit in a beer garden in this weather
my mate wanted to meet this evening, until i pointed out how cold it likely to be at 5pm, we might just leave it till the weekend and see how the weather is.
I feel so sorry for the publicans. Round here they've spent a fair bit of money trying to get ready for outdoor trade, then the weather ends up like this. I really hope it picks up for them, soon.
so do i rocky.
I think people will still go rocky, especially the youngsters.
Yesterday I was in the garden pottering about, washing on line etc... woke up to snow in London! You honestly couldn’t make it up. It’s just stopped but absolutely freezing outside. Am just waiting for the news this eve showing people sitting outside in coats, scarves, gloves etc with ice cold pints of lager!
I should imagine some landlords will also supply outdoor heating.
We've just come back from the Langdon Beck Hotel in Upper Teesdale and the weather is fab. We sat enjoying the sunshine with a glass of wine and had to take our coats off!
