Who's fault is it?

I slipped in the shower and landed on a soap dish. resulting in a deep cut needing seven stiches. Which has left me with a very ugly 6cm scar. I rent my house. I have been told my landlord should rent his properties with a regulated non-slip bath. Is this correct ?

Your accident was unforunate but we all need to exercise a certain amount of personal responsibility in exercising care in our homes and it stands to reason that any wet surface is slippery.

A non-slip bath or shower mat costs less than �5. Buy one now. Life should be about learning lessons, not trying to sue everybody in sight every time something goes wrong in our lives.

The landlord should have landlords liability insurance, which covers both him and the tenant in cases where the tenant injure thermselves in the rented property.
