back to school

is anyone emotional about there children going back to school? mine go back tomorrow and im quite sad about it. Think it because it marks the end of the summer.plus my son doesnt want to go back and he will probably get upset and so will i. im dreading it.

i'm looking forward to it!!!
the only thing is my 9 year old is starting middle school and i feel really nervous for her.
i've got an older daughter who is currently in upper school so it's not like i haven't been through it before but this time i am really worried about it.
i know she'll be alright. can't wait till the first day is over and everything settles down!!!

My Grandaughter has started Junior school today and I haven,t stopped thinking about her. Can,t wait till she is home and is goin g to ring me.

My son starts high school on Thursday, he's only in for the morning though as it's a 'get to know your new school' sort of thing so I'm not too worried about that but Friday is when all the other kids are in as well and I'm dreading it, I was bullied in high school so I'm terrified he'll go through the same thing!

My lovely, intelligent and logical children have had too long off. I plan on putting up more bunting than the local village fete to mark their return to educational establishments.

My brother is just starting proper school tomorow - hes 4 years old - i just hope it goes well for him :)

the only thing that i'm sad about is having to get up at 6.30am to get them all out the door on time!!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 childrenwho have left school now but only had this conversation last week with someone at work.
Each holiday time my daughter would make a fuss about going back to school they will be fine oncet hey get back into the swing of things and see all the friends they have not seen since they broke up.So dont worry too much it is just that they get used to being at home again. I can understand you getting emotional none of us like to see our little ones unhappyl.. jenny wren 4
