One thing that I have mentioned on here before, is the missing "T" in pronunciation by lots of people in the media, one example being the word "committee", where the double "t" changes to "d" when being spoken. It happens all the time. Tis true folks!
Not only Americans, Emmie. Tanya Stevenson, who replaced John McCririck on C4 racing, hardly ever pronounced her 'ts' when giving the odds. Two to one was always, "3 der 1" and so on.
i haven't heard her to be fair, but i can't understand some who are so lazy, they can't pronounce their T's. Unless they have a stammer or a lisp, that's somewhat different.
He's reading his autobiography on R4e at various times every day, bednobs.
That's where I heard him. Although he always seems to be putting on an accent.
there are obviously some here who don't pronounce their T's but i find when watching American dramas, even comedy shows that t isn't neccessarily pronounced.
