I am currently claiming Job Seekers allowance. I have been offered a job and start 18th September. Could anybody tell me how I can claim my Job Seekers money up to the 18th and get my P45 back for 18th September?

Tell the JSA that you need your P45 now inform them of your start date.

Thats what I did.

You won't get your P45 back the Jobcentre will issue you with one once your final benefit payment has been made. You will give the P45 from the JC to your new employer.
