Photo Filters

I am signed up to several local police and news groups and there are a lot of posts about missing, vulnerable people. Usually there is a photo obviously lifted from Facebook to help us find them.

Their mothers' would have no chance of recognising them from those photos - so heavily filtered and photoshopped they barely look human - the boys and men and well as the girls and women.

Who are they trying to kid? Do they really think anyone believes they ever look like that? And why haven't parents got 'proper' photos of their children?

I have several my daughter has sent and she is half dog or cat but I do have some 'proper' photos. I hope I never need them apart from to look at.
