erm no- My father tried as a now German and Russian speaker to persuade one of the german workers/servants to bring in food ( that he paid for)
and she said no - she was prepared to risk a concentration camp for a few things but not bringing in food to POWs.
21 59 - I thought the testimony was obviously true which is why I transcribed it. I had forgotten experimentation in Russian POW camps.(*)
Teacake's comment on the other hand is - your dad is a damned liar.
Cool. He can say it.
(*) They were testing a not very good Typhus vaccine. Jan 1945 The (Death) March of the Prison Camps across Europe could be stopped by Typhus. so the (western) doctors bought typhus + blood ( for the blood tests see?) for a few loaves of bread from the Russian prisoners
