my virgin remote has been missing for a day or so. i have been looking online to see how much a replacement costs. i went on to ebay first, and secondly the virgin website. I was astonished to see if you press the button on the front of the virgin box it makes the remote beep! could be useful to someone

There shouldn't be any Virgin remotes on eBay unless Virgin is selling them - we only rent the equipment and it isn't ours to sell

and hopkirk, the very nice virgin website asked me if their suggestion had worked and a page came up that said "great, now it's time for a cuppa"! so i took them up on their instruction :)

Yep, tried that too, bednobs - on both of them. No beeping. Doesn't matter really, I was just curious

Press the button on the front of a virgin box and you get a beep. I remember that.
