As to Hancock, it's simple - he broke his own rules and advice and put himself in a totally untenable position. The situation may be deepened as there are accusations of further 'preferences' involving NHS contracts to Mrs C's lobbying company and one owned by her brother...

As to his relationship with Mrs C, the Telegraph implied that this had been going on since Uni days, so I don't think Mrs H was quite in the dark as many have made out - a bit of a Prince Charles/Camilla situation perhaps??

I am assuming that the camera was part of the normal security system. If it was unauthorised then that has very serious implications.

It's quite possible that reports that it was hidden in a smoke detector are false, I'm prepared to accept that.

Haven't read all of the posts but do think from looking at the photo - he knew he was being filmed. Don't ask me why but just do. I do study body language and that was one. He wanted to go.
