Bread Bin And Egg Rack

Do you have either or both of these, if so, what are they like?
The eggs in/out of fridge discussion has been done to death so I'm only really interested in what people who DON'T store eggs in the fridge keep them in.
I currently have a pine drop front bread bin and a pine egg rack, both of which are years old and waaay past their best, not to mention very dated, so as we're decorating the kitchen and having a clear out I'm contemplating buying new up to date ones.
Not having even looked at what's available for years I wonder what's 'fashionable' and serviceable these days.

I keep both in the fridge. I very rarely buy eggs these days though.

Like Boo, we use two China chickens for the eggs, but we use the microwave as a bread-bin - it never gets used as a microwave cos it's too noisy. I have to say that when we were looking for the first chicken we saw some lovely bespoke ones which cost a fortune. We ended up getting them from charity shops.

My bread lives in a salad bowl.......possibly a bit weird......

I dont have either. I already have a george forman grill and griddle on my worktop, a mug rack, a toaster and a kettle as well as a plate warmer and steamer. no room for anything else!

Eccles, that's really nice, very stylish and just the sort of thing I was thinking of..modern but functional.

I got a metal bread bin, an egg rack similar to one of those in eccles's link, and a pair of silicone oven gloves, all from dunelm...success! What a difference it's made in the kitchen, or maybe it's the fact I cleaned the tiles that's made the biggest difference.
