I've only ever been to one live concert (except opera) in my life. It was 1977, Neil Diamond open air concert at Woburn Abbey. It was a magical evening, a conversation between him and his audience.

I bet LB, before we married my Husband lived in New York and he met and had a few drinks with Neil in a rooftop bar- ha said he was very easy going.

That's just how he was at the concert mamya, chatting to people in the audience. Sounds like he was an all round nice guy. Mind you I read he was married 3 times so I'm not sure what that tells us;-)
He's retired now with Parkinson's, sadly.
