People returning to the UK from France now have to quarantine because of the number of Beta variant cases "in France". What Boris and Co have failed to grasp is that those cases are mainly in the Indian Ocean French territories of Réunion and Mayotte. Any chance of another U-turn before he ruins the holidays of thousands of Brits?

I added as much to the discussion as Gulliver and canary.
I’m sure Boris & co would have done geography, diddly. They went to good schools.

Apart from criticising another poster, what have you added to the discussion, atheist?
Naomi and DD. 'Touche' (pronounced too shay).
What a prig I am.
I think that my problem is that I fear that any point I make will be agreed with or more likely disagreed with "end of." There's not often a response such as 'Oh yes, that's an interesting point. But suppose we look at it this way.'
I bet Naomi won't say anything like that in response to this point (No TTT! I'm not offering a wager, just saying...)
Atheist, it’s highly unlikely I’d ever say ‘end of’, but if I knew what you were talking about I might say you have an interesting point. However, I don’t.
oo-er Mrs - missed that one.....
