What Is The Tool I Need

...to remove carpet tacks and strips.
I saw this utility bar in Wilko...but it seems rather large. Bigger tgat I'd imagined.

That should be fine. It needs to be long enough to give you sufficient leverage to remove the tacks, etc.

That's a handy tool to have around the house, and, as nescio said, you need the leverage.

As an ex carpet fitter I can tell you, this is a useful tool.
I used on for many years, though mine was a silver colour.
