Just in case anyone was worried, got back from Scotland this afternoon, and I must say the best holiday I've ever had. The Scots have a great sense of humor and can't do enough for you if you ask. Scenery/ locations are breathtaking, weather has been out of this world, couldn't have had better. I'm stuffed to the eyeballs with the best of Scotland's beef, strawberries and salmon. Can't wait to go back.

Have you reported back to A/Bs Waste Disposal Officer yet ?

Not yet but I do expect to, I dropped a full tank off on the outskirts of her village on the way back.

We're very much looking forward to our holiday in a cottage near Selkirk in Sept.. As a child I visited relatives in Scotland every year and I hate to go a year without getting up there - even managed the odd day or 2 there when we came over from France. Lovely people, ditto scenery and food and just that feeling of being at home. Glad you had such a good holiday, Teacacke. Re: the suntan comments - I'm so tired of people saying (when they hear that I hail from near Bradford) but you're the wrong colour!

^^ yes I did pass through Pitlochry but didn't stop, I stopped there some years back, its very very nice.
