I'll happily eat any of them. Each has its own merits.
Years ago used to stop in a place in Burton on Trent for work that was very reasonably priced. On first day me and my mate were shown to a table and told to help ourselves to cereals, which as it was a cheap place we thought that was probably it so filled up. A few minutes later a lady comes over and asked if all ok, which it was, and then asked if we wanted the small, medium or large breakfast. Again, going on the price we were paying opted for the large thinking that would be a normal one. A while later I see my mates face drop. The lady was heading to our table with two large hexagonal plates. On the plate was 3 bacon, 3 sausages, 3 black pudding, three fried eggs, 3 halves of tomato, big plie of beans and big pile of mushrooms, around the plate on each side was a half slice of fried bread. We were just looking in amazement at this thing when another lady appeared and dropped a toast rack full of toast on the table as well!
My mate managed to eat it all bar one half of fried bread (he's a big ***) and was duly congratulated. I'm afraid I didnt eat the fried bread at all so failed miserably.
We later learned that small was one of the above, medium was 2 and large was three. And in addition they would do whatever you wanted so I usually had poached eggs on toast with a sausage or a rasher or two of bacon.
There was also the entertainment value when a 'newbie' stopped in. It was mostly builders or salesmen so inevitably they opted for the large. One could enjoy the picture on their face when they copped sight of the ruddy thing!
