Kettle without water gauge neded

Hi there

I'm trying to find a stainless steel kettle with no window or water gauge. Every one I look at seems to have some kind of gauge on it. Can anyone recommend a model (one that's currently available) that fits the bill, please?

I think you are unlikely to find such a thing. Why is the gauge so important?

why don't you want one? Having a gauge means you can just boil one cupful if you like.

Why do you need one without a gauge? Could you just ignore the gauge, or tape over it? I agree with scotman, very few kettles do not have a gauge these days.

The kettle's not for me. The person it is for has apparently had bad experiences before with gauges furring up/leaking etc etc and is convinced they shorten the life of the said kettle. I know it's nonsense! But I thought I'd see if there was anything out there before having the argument. Sigh...

guys.. Maybe the original poster is looking for a gauge-free kettle to completely avoid plastic and boil water in 100% steel material.
