Most of you will have probably seen this before, but true nevertheless.

Put the elderly in prison:

We should place the elderly in prison because

They will get a shower every day
Video surveillance in case of problems
3 meals a day; access to a library
Computers, TV, gym, doctors on-site
and free medication if needed

Put criminals in care homes and they'll get

Cold meals; lights out at 7 pm
Two showers per week; live in a smaller room
and pay rent at £2,000 per month

It's pretty sad that we treat prisoners better than our elderly.

Some keep returning to psych units as well.

Amazed at how often I see pensioners out and about doing voluntary litter picking in their community while several hundred inmates languish in luxury a mile down the road
In some US states they still use the chain gang
Time some earned their 3 meals a day and roof over their head
Probably guaranteed a council house on release too as part of their reintegration into society
