Is It Eczema/Dermatitis ?
6 Answers
I've got a red crack in the skin under one eye...and slightly irritated skin around my nose.
I had several very bad bouts of this years ago, which included inflammation of my eyelid along with painful cracking. It would seem to come in cycles...getting better, almost disappearing, then worsening. I was also under a lot of work stress at that time.
This is no where near as bad, and I thought I'd traced it to a new facial cleanser. But I only used that twice...about 2 weeks ago.
Any recommendations as to what I can use?

I would just visit the pharmacist in the first instance who can give you some 1% Hydrocortisone to use for no more than 7 days and moisturisation is the key - as in keep applying as often as you can. The best moisturiser I find is the old fashioned Nivea in the round blue tub.
Being run down / stressed does exacerbate it for certain but since I've optimised my Vitamin D levels it has been a lot better for me.
