I think it would be worth travelling to Manch to appear with peter pedant
and rowanwitch would like to do Pointless.
I have often said that I would love to be on Bargain Hunt because I often assess the actual value of items. I don't think I would suffer from nerves.

I was on 15-1 in the late 80s. It was absolutely terrifying when I was asked questions and my mind just went blank. I tried not to catch anyone’s eye in case they picked me! In about 1982 I was on a programme hosted by Paul Daniels called ‘Odd One Out’. It was on the BBC and we were put up for two nights in the Royal Garden Hotel Kensington. I've no great desire to appear on any TV programme but I do wish that I was good enough to join an Only Connect team. I'd also love to have the brain power to join a regional team on Radio 4's (almost totally impenetrable) Round Britain Quiz.
As a great lover of visits to auction rooms and antiques fairs, Bargain Hunt might also appeal to me.
My closest to media stardom to date though has only been relief presenting on BBC Radio Sheffield (being interviewed on a news programme on the same station as well), as well as being interviewed on BBC Radio Suffolk and BBC Radio 4. (I've also been pictured on the front page of the Times Educational Supplement and quoted on the front page of the Daily Telegraph).

I remember going to see Pirates of Penzance while we were there - just magic with Oliver Tobias and Michael Praed.

Lol at 08:42 !
Many years ago there was a programme called Pets Win Prizes hosted by Dale Winton and I really, really wanted to go on there with my then lovely dog (Tara) who was extremely intelligent and loved learning tricks and so on. I got through as well and was due to go down for an 'interview' with her, and then suddenly it was axed, just like that ! I was really put out over it, I think we would have done well ..

I am (quite) surprised none fancied going on cookery programmes. Some people on AB seem to try quite a range of recipes from different cultures, or so they say ;)
Hats off to all who have been on the media. My sympathy does go to novalis, that must still be a disappointment to him.
BA goes to hellywelly as she really enjoyed the clip that Chris kindly looked out for her (I enjoyed watching it too, though I cannot recall the show).
