If you're referring to home heating oil, prices have been rising for much of the year. They're currently up about 28% from the start of the year, with the trend still being steeply upwards:

They were already expensive - they really have us over a barrel with little choice to freeze or pay expensive oil prices

We got an automatic fill up on Monday, 1000 liters of kerosene. God know what the price will be when I get the bill.

We are with Northern Energy, just looked on my account and its gone up from 0.55p a liter to 0.62p which means around £70 more than last fill up which was in May. Not as bad as I thought, hopefully things will have settled down by the time we need another fill up in January.

just getting back to the post - the lady said it goes up nearly every month - so I may get cracking - yes Chris - Home oil.
