Hair Removal Cream

does anyone know of any hair removal cream that actually works. i’ve used lots of different ones in the past and they have done nothing for me or have removed very little hair, even when i’ve followed the instructions carefully, making sure that my hair is the correct length and the area i’m applying it to is clean and dry. sometimes i leave it for a bit longer than it says to but still no luck. are there any affordable ones out there that work or should i splash out a bit more. i also want it to last though. any advice is very much appreciated :) (also i didn’t know what category to put this under)

I'm definitely no expert here as, after having seven months of chemotherapy last year, I'm just glad to see any hair ;-)
However it occurs to me that, if you want a treatment to be long-lasting, you might want to look for something that not only remove the hair but comes with a growth inhibitor too. I note that the Skin Doctors product, recommended here on the Mirror's website, includes two separate preparations for exactly that reason:
