Yes, your "herpes out breaks" are due to herpes simplex virus which is totally different from the shingles virus (herpes Zoster)

I caught shingles (it's horrible) when I was 68 - but I was not allowed a Shingles jab until I was 70. I booked it and had it when I was 70 years and 2 days. Seems stupid to me to withhold it from people liable to suffer from it.

I simply don't think it would be feasible to give it to everyone Jourdain.
