The Met office that is. On my tablet the app shows sun all day. Less than 5% chance of rain now

I'm not as far West as you, lj, but my predicteded weather was sun...and more sun. It's been grey and bleak for hours. And it was so promising when I woke up. Heavy rain is predicted for overnight...hours of it.
Just double checked...thunder showers from 5pm onwards. Oh joy.

The Met Office now get their weather predictions from the Express fiction writers. If you want to know what the weather is really going to do then this site is probably one of the best. I use it if I have a day fishing planned. The short range predictions are very accurate and show local conditions if you zoom down. It gets less accurate when the predictor runs for more than a week, but that is only to be expected. It is still more reliable than the Met. Office reports. It has settings that you can save to suit your own needs and covers just about everywhere.

Pasta, I give up some times - better to look out of the window and forecast the weather yourself!! Bit of a pain if you want to put laundry out though. Hope you're well hun x

There was a mini tornado in Widnes today which played havoc with a street in the town - walls fell down, car windows smashed, trees uprooted. Luckily no-one was hurt.

Greater London here. Sunshine n odd shower most of the day. Very windy tho. At this precise mo it’s pouring down!
