From reading what you've said I think they'd be up your street, Minty. History meeting the present.

I've read most of them - and one whilst sitting under a palm tree in about 100 degrees on a sun drenched beach in the Caribbean. I kid you not, even in that heat I had goose bumps! She's a very good writer.
will take a look ta Naomi xx
My pleasure.

i love Kate Mosse books, if you have the time, some are weighty tomes like Labyrinth, excellent reads, much better than Dan Brown.
tempest fugit..must get on..have a great day folks xx
Question Author
bye Minty, have a good day
Morning all...dull and more dull here.
I've read many of Barbara Erkines books yet I've yet to read her most famous, Lady of Hay. Maybe I'll tackle it this winter. I recommend them.
That was the first one I read, Pasta. I think the one that gave me goose bumps in 100 degree heat was House of Echoes. Brrrr.....
I think that was the first one I read years ago...and Hiding From the Light with it's theme of the Witch Finder General is great reading for this time of the year.
I need to catch up on a few of her more recent books...I know she had one out earlier this year.
