My phone is creaking and I'm tempted to buy a nwe one - probably a Samsung. Is it worth waiting for blackfriday? Or with chip shortages etc. are prices going to rise in teh meantime?

Black Friday is usually a con. I would either buy it now, or wait for post Christmas bargains.
depends on how much your willing to spend, what is your budget.
It will be worth doing your research to find the model you definitely want and the best price. Use this to see how the price has changed on Amazon for the phone you want - it will give you an idea as to how much to pay and whether the current price is a bargain

I don't think prices are going to rise over the next three or four weeks so it could be worth holding on to Black Friday - a lot of it is a con but there are some genuine savings.

Just a thought, Goofy - have you thought about restoring your current phone to factory default? That often gets tired, creaking phones whizzy again and could help it last another couple of years.
I just got a new phone it's a Motorola brand

My last 2 phones have been alcatel and the charger port where you plug in the charger broke on both of them.
