Anyway like all of us we have everything we need so I'm looking for something for sister. She has everything and has about 3 big radios but none of the radios play Radio Foyle - think 93.1fm.

I;m looking for a little radio that will play Radio Foyle. If that's possible.

Bobbs - I honestly don't know but I can get Radio Foyle on my digital but Bobbs - the digital would need to be straightforward as she doesn't understand digital ways. She keeps saying one of her radios is digital but they're not.
Depends how much you want to spend really, what about an Alexa dot?

Bobbs you gave me food for thought and I just typed digital radio this is what I came up with

I always like the fact you can "see the station" you are on. would you agree.

She doesn't have any wi-fi - nothing LOL so she wouldn't get a peep out of poor Alexa
Sounds good JENNY
Then go for the digital radio :0)

Gawd - If i bring anymore radios think she'll kill me LOL - looked at the reviews of that - and they're not good.
Most modern TVs can now play digital radio.
BBC Radio Foyle is on mine.

If she has a smartphone, there is a website and App called Radio Garden that lets you play most radio stations in the world.

gromit - no smartphone, no wifi, no broadband, doesn't turn her TV on until 6.30pm - I wanted to hear Sean Coyle 3pm-4pm.

She is pretty hard work. And doesn't want any of the above either. I offered to pay for wi-fi monthly for her and she looked at me in amazement. Too set in her ways.
The Medium wave signal was switched off in May, but it is available on 93.1 FM.
Question Author
So would she get that on her ordinary radios Gromit.
FM band has been available in the UK since the 1950s, it depends on her radio.
There is usually a switch to change between
MW (medium wave)
LW (long wave)
FM
And sometimes SW (short wave).

Move the switch to FM, and move the dial to 93.1
