Re OP - yes. It is perturbing that the Tory Right is also so controlling, which is why Boris may yet face a revolt by many Tory MPs. Either extreme wants to control their population Hitler (right) and Lenin (left), but generally Labour wants to organise society as a whole and leave less space for individuality, whilst Tories are more laissez-faire.
