Cressida Dick has said the Met will investigate any contravention of the rules at this gathering 12 months ago.If someone writes a letter of accusation they will see if there is any evidence to support it.Given her extremely precarious position I think this is very unlikely to uncover anything.

Don't be daft, Gulliver. There are lots of offices in 10 Downing Street and loads of people work in them in varying capacities. I know two of them - and they weren't at the party either. I would hope the police have better things to spend their resources on than investigating a group of people who work together having a drink for Christmas. Had it been a cup of tea at 3 in the afternoon it wouldn't have been a problem. Do calm down.
