Nicola is making an announcement today, announcing more restrictions for Scotland I am totally dreading it. She is keeping everyone waiting like a sword of damocles hanging over our head. My parents are having a diamond wedding party on Saturday with 20 guests. I am supposed to be having a 50th Birthday party on 8th January with 24 guests both in hospitality venues mine in the evening and my parents party in the afternoon. Do you think she is going to restrict hospitality again?

"What time is the statement?

Nicola Sturgeon is expected to be called by the Presiding Officer to give her update to the Scottish Parliament at around 2.05pm.

The SNP leader will give a statement for about 20 minutes before taking questions from members of parliament, including opposition leaders Douglas Ross from the Tories and Labour's Anas Sarwar, for around 70 minutes."

Well that was all very illuminating.

More compromise, equivocation and crossing of fingers dressed up as science.

She just wanted to be first, obviously.

Armageddon is postponed until at least the 27th so we can all have a right good really.
